Three options: Sign in with Google (Android and iOS), Sign in with Apple (iOS), or email/password (we manually permission email signups during the preview). Anonymous use is intentionally not supported — every account is tied to an identity so we can restore your loops safely.

Yes. Sign in with the same identity on both. Loops, journey, and pending replies sync over Supabase realtime within a second or two. Each device gets its own push token, so a nudge will arrive on both.

OCR runs on Mistral's document model. Everything conversational runs on OpenAI GPT-5.4. Voice transcription happens entirely on your phone — no audio leaves the device.

No. The AI is explicitly instructed never to interpret medical values, assess urgency, predict outcomes, recommend specialists, or reference what “doctors usually” do. A separate guardrail re-checks every output before it reaches you and re-prompts the model if it strays. svaloop is not a medical device. For health decisions, see a qualified human professional.

The AI has a hard rule: always know the next concrete action.If it doesn't, it asks. Sometimes your earlier answer was vague enough that it needs one more turn to get a date or a time. We chose this over silently guessing.

No. Our contracts with OpenAI and Mistral explicitly opt out of training on the data we send. We don't train any in-house models on your content either.

Only between 9 am and 9 pm in your local time, and only up to 5 nudges per day across all your loops. We'd rather miss a nudge than wake you at 2 am.

Yes — through your phone's system settings. The rest of the app continues to work; you'll just see check-ins inside the app instead of as push notifications.

Check phone-level notification permissions first. Then verify your device hasn't hit the daily nudge cap of 5. Then check whether the scheduled time fell inside quiet hours (9 pm – 9 am local). If none of those explain it, email us and we'll look at the scheduler logs.

This shouldn't happen — the system is designed to preserve concrete facts. If you see it, send us a screenshot. We treat preservation bugs as priority.

Tap the proposal to edit it before accepting. svaloop never silently writes OCR'd text into your loop — you always confirm the structured proposal first.
