Welcome to svaloop. By creating an account, downloading the app, or using svaloop.com (together, “the Service”), you agree to these Terms. The Service is operated by Vivek Pujari, sole proprietor (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@learnwithvivek.com.
1. What svaloop is
svaloop is a personal organiser for “loops” — long-running, consequential things in your life that don't end cleanly with a single task. The app uses AI to extract structured information from your inputs (text, voice, documents) and to follow up with you, kindly, when you go silent. The product is calm by design: no red dots, no streaks-pressure, no medical interpretation.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is lower. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are using svaloop on behalf of someone else (for example, an elderly parent), you confirm that you have their consent and are recording their information with their knowledge.
3. Your account
- You sign in with Google, Apple, or an email/password we have manually permissioned.
- One account per person. Don't share login credentials.
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in identity secure.
- If you suspect unauthorised access, write to support@learnwithvivek.com immediately.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use svaloop to:
- Violate any law or anyone else's rights.
- Upload illegal, fraudulent, or grossly offensive content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, decompile, or bypass any technical limit of the service.
- Send abusive volumes of requests, run automated probes, or interfere with normal use by others.
- Resell, repackage, or otherwise commercialise the service without our written consent.
- Use the service to make decisions affecting other people's healthcare, legal status, or finances without their explicit, informed consent.
5. AI & the calm-voice promise
svaloop's nudges and replies are generated by large language models (currently OpenAI GPT-5.4) and OCR models (currently Mistral). AI is occasionally wrong, occasionally repetitive, and never a substitute for human judgment.
The rules we hold the AI to:
- Always know the next concrete action — and if it doesn't, ask one quiet question.
- Echo your exact time back. Never translate “5:30 pm Thursday” into “this evening.”
- Never interpret medical values, predict outcomes, recommend specialists, or reference what “doctors usually” do. A post-output guardrail enforces this and re-prompts the model if it slips.
Even with these guardrails, please review what the AI says before acting on it. Treat svaloop as a calm assistant helping you keep a rhythm, not as a source of factual or expert advice.
6. Health, medical, and legal disclaimer
svaloop is not a medical device, not a healthcare provider, not a licensed professional, and not regulated under any clinical or legal framework. Nothing the app says is medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or psychotherapy. If a loop involves a serious health concern, a legal deadline, or a financial commitment, rely on qualified human professionals — not us.
In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
7. Pricing & preview
svaloop is currently free during a public preview. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, the prices and terms will be shown in the app before you are charged, and existing free users will be given clear notice.
8. Your content
You retain all rights to the content you put into svaloop — your loops, your documents, your conversation history. You grant us a limited, revocable licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you. We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not show it to advertisers. We do not sell it.
Deleting a loop removes its content from the database within minutes. Deleting your account removes everything within 7 days, with backups ageing out within 30 days. See Privacy for the full retention table.
9. Third-party services
svaloop relies on Supabase, OpenAI, Mistral, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Sign-In, and Sign in with Apple. Their own terms apply when their service is invoked on your behalf. We have made commercially reasonable efforts to choose providers whose terms align with our privacy posture — see Privacy for details.
10. Availability
We aim for a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted operation. We may take the service down for maintenance, security work, or unexpected outages. We are not liable for any loss caused by downtime, but we will try to give advance notice and to restore service quickly when something breaks.
11. Suspension & termination
You can stop using svaloop at any time. You can delete your account from inside the app or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse other users or the service, or if a regulator requires us to. Where possible we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.
12. Warranties
We provide the service “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent allowed by law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change, and material updates will be notified inside the app before they take effect. Continued use of svaloop after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
16. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's principal place of business. Before going to court, please email us first — we'd much rather resolve things directly. If your local consumer law gives you stronger rights than these terms, those rights apply.
